As rt of our ongoing work exploring ableism and disability it has been a wonderful to work alongside Kinoema to organise this screening of Unseen at Aashna.

Join Aashna Counselling & Psychotherapy and Kinoema for a special Aashna+ screening of the award-winning documentary Unseen, followed by a discussion.

This moving and innovative film follows Pedro, a blind and undocumented aspiring social worker, as he confronts systemic barriers in pursuit of higher education. Through its experimental, audio-centric cinematography, unseen invites audiences to re-imagine accessibility and experience the world beyond sight.

Following the screening, we will hold a facilitated discussion on the film’s themes of disability, immigration, resilience, and the power of storytelling.

Teas, coffee, refreshments and some light snacks will be available.

💜  Donation: £8 – contributions support the Unseen film-makers.
